What does it mean?!

At the end of what has been a very challenging week at school/work,
the setting sun was shining through the gently falling rain, and I
looked back to see a full-on, double-rainbow all across the sky.
Looking at the luminous arch as it seemed to span the campus, I took
it as a promise that, no matter how bad things get, there will always
be goodness and beauty to look forward to.
